Founded by DJ and electronics engineer Russ Ashley, the business was built from a genuine passion for sound, technical precision and the culture surrounding music and performance. What started as a fascination with taking things apart and understanding how they worked eventually evolved into a specialist audio company trusted by DJs, venues and hospitality businesses across the South UK.

Restore Audio was originally created to fill a gap in the local industry, providing professional DJ equipment repairs without the limitations and restrictions often associated with manufacturer-linked service centres. Since then, the business has expanded into commercial audio installation, DSP-controlled venue systems and one-to-one DJ coaching, while still remaining rooted in the DJ community that helped build it.
